This raised-auger and box design combination provides a thorough yet gentle blending of ingredients, including large square bales. This unique design provides a consistent, more thorough mix with fewer fines and eliminates dead spots common to many other auger mixers. The raised, lower right auger configuration, along with the close tolerance between the auger flighting and the auger bottoms, results in a fast and complete cleanout. The raised-auger and box design requires less horsepower, provides a faster mix time and reduces machine wear. The combination of the large oil bath door opening and remote grease bank allows for easy maintenance of all rear drive components. Whether you feed flaked grains requiring a gentle mixing action, or need to blend a high roughage ration, your choice of auger packages allows you to tailor the mixer to your specific ration needs. Flighting convergence point LEFT SIDE MIXING VIEW The lower augers push feed up to the upper augers at the flighting convergence to aid mixing and move material forward for unloading. The upper augers move material rearward for proper mixing and load-leveling. UPPER AUGER TROUGH The upper-auger trough provides fast front-to-back mixing action, superior load leveling, and prevents overloading of the lower right-auger. The trough strengthens the mixer, eliminating the need for external supports. ROUGHAGE-AUGER OPTION Roughage and long-stem hay-handling capability is increased due to the recessed, hard-faced knives, which feature a self-sharpening edge. The shear angle and rasp bar, in conjunction with the knives, create an effective cutting action. GRAIN-AUGER OPTION This option uses notched augers, without the knives and rasp bar, to provide gentle mixing of flaked grain with fewer fines for feedlot rations. The narrower flighting convergence point of the lower auger maximizes feed cleanout in high-grain rations. Loaded with Features and Built To Last! 3 2 1 3 4 5 BOX DESIGN The raised, lower right auger configuration requires less horsepower and allows for better cleanout, easier mixing and reduced wear. When discharging, the raised, lower right auger steadily feeds the lower left auger providing an even feed flow to the very end of the load. The upper-auger trough and raised, lower right auger eliminate ”dead spots” common to other auger mixers. The large door opening allows for a fast and even discharge. SCALE EXTENSION ARM The sturdy, adjustable, telescoping swing arm permits indicator viewing from the tractor seat or either side of the mixer. HEAVY-DUTY UNDERCARRIAGE All trailer models use a heavy-duty undercarriage providing a solid foundation for even the largest Botec 4-auger mixers. Large diameter spindles with 10-bolt hubs provide strength and durability. The adjustable and reversible clevis hitch adapts to different drawbar heights. DISCHARGE OPTIONS The simple, hydraulically-controlled slide tray is ideal for floor feeding. The hydraulically-driven, 3-auger discharge provides an even discharge for all rations.
