As a safety featu re, the power door lock switch will not
lock when the door is open and the key is in the ignition.
Autom atic Door Locks
If this featu re is selected you r door locks will lock
autom atically if the vehicle speed is above 15 mph (24
km/ h) and all doors are closed . It will reset whenever a 2
door is opened .
This featu re is selectable and can be turned on or off.

Featu res” in Section 3 of this manu al or see you r autho-
rized dealer.
Autom atic Unlock on Exit Featu re — Only
Availab le if Auto Lock is Enabled
This featu re will unlock all the doors when the driver’s
door is opened if the vehicle is stop ped and in P (Park) or
N (Neutral). Refer to “Overhead Console — Custom er
Program mable Featu res” in Section 3 of this manu al or
see you r authorized dealer.
Once locked , the rear doors cannot be opened from the
insid e until the lock lever has been released . However,
both front doors can be opened using the insid e door
hand le.
