asABSandTCStocontrolsideslipwhen
drivingonslipperysurfaces,orduring
suddenorevasivemaneuvering,
qTCS/DSCIndicatorLight
enhancingvehiclethesafety.
RefertoABS(page5-7)andTCS(page
5-21).
Thisindicatorlightstaysonforafew
secondswhentheignitionswitchisturned
totheONposition.IftheTCSorDSCis
operating,theindicatorlightflashes.
WARNING
DSCandUnsafeDriving:
Thedynamicstabilitycontrol(DSC)
cannotcompensateforunsafeand
recklessdrivingexcessivespeed,
tailgating(followinganothervehicle
tooclosely),andhydroplaning
Ifthelightstayson,theTCSorDSCmay
haveamalfunctionandtheymaynot
operatecorrectly.Takeyourvehicletoan
AuthorizedMazdaDealer.

becauseofwaterontheroadsurface).
Youcanstillhaveanaccident.So
don'trelyonthedynamicstability
controlasasubstituteforsafedriving.
NOTE
Inadditiontotheindicatorlight

thattheTCSisoperatingproperly.
Onslipperysurfaces,suchasfresh

snow,itwillbeimpossibleto

on.
