UNDERSTANDING THE FEATURES OF YOUR VEHICLE
TheCruiseControlsystemhastwocontrolmodes.
WARNING!
Adaptive cruise control mode for maintaining an
appropriatedistancebetweenvehicles.
YoushouldswitchofftheACCsystem:
When driving in fog, heavy rain, heavy snow,
sleet,heavytraffic,andcomplexdrivingsituations
(i.e.,inhighwayconstructionzones).
Normal(fixedspeed)cruisecontrolmodeforcruising
ataconstantpresetspeed.Foradditionalinformation,
referto“Normal(FixedSpeed)CruiseControlMode”
in this section. Note: The system will not react to
preceding vehicles. Always be aware of the mode
selected.
When entering a turn lane or highway off ramp;
when driving on roads that are winding,  icy,
snow-covered, slippery, or have steep uphill or
downhillslopes;andwhentowingatrailer.
Whencircumstancesdonotallowsafedrivingata
constantspeed.
Youcanchangethemodebyusingthecontrollever.The
two control modes function differently.Always confirm
whichmodeisselected.
Failure to follow these warnings can result in an
accidentorseriouspersonalinjury.
