Shifting
Youcanshiftgearsupanddownby
operatingtheshiftleverorthesteering
shiftswitches.
NOTE
Ifthesteeringshiftswitchesonbothsides

(leftandright)areoperatedsimultaneously,
thegearwillshiftonce.
Thegearwillnotshiftif:

Thesteeringshiftswitchandtheshift

WARNING
Keepyourhandsonthesteeringwheel
rimwhenusingfingersorthumbson
thesteeringshiftswitches:
leverareoperatedsimultaneously.
TheUPswitchandDOWNswitchare
operatedsimultaneously.

ManuallyShiftingup
Puttingyourhandsinsidetherimof
thesteeringwheelwhenusingthe
steeringshiftswitchesisdangerous.
Ifthedriver'sairbagweretodeploy
inacollision,yourhandscouldbe
impactedcausinginjury.
(M1→M2→M3→M4→M5→M6)
Toshiftuptoahighergear,taptheshift
leverback( )once.
NOTE
Whendrivingslowly,thegearsmaynot

shiftupdependingonvehiclespeed.
Inmanualshiftmode,gearsdonotshiftup

automatically.Donotruntheenginewith
thetachometerneedleintheREDZONE.If
thetachometerneedleenterstheRED
ZONE,youmayfeelengine-braking
becausethefueldeliverywillbestoppedto
protecttheengine.However,thisdoesnot
indicateanabnormality.
Whendepressingtheacceleratorfully,the

transmissionwillshifttoalowergear,
dependingonvehiclespeed(Except
M2→M1).
