If necessary, apply slight pressure to the
drive shaft and rotate it slowly at the
same time until it can be pushed in to the
required length.

Loosen the clamp screws (1) on the
gearbox (2) and clamp (3).

Push the drive tube (4) through the
clmp and into the gearbox, turning
the gearbox back and forth at the
same time.
Connecting attachment to basic
power tool
:
Once the end of the drive tube is
inserted beyond the slot in the
clamp (5), push the gearbox right up
to the stop.

Loosen the clamp screws on the
gearbox housing of the power tool
and pull the gearbox off the drive
tube.

Fit the clamp screws as far as stop.
Line up the gearbox (2) on the drive
tube so that the machine support (6)
on the powerhead and the tread of
the depth wheel (7) are horizontal.
The drive shaft may slip out of the
tube when you pull off the gearbox.
If this happens push the drive shaft
back into the tube.

Tighten the clamp screws firmly.
The drive shaft must not project from the
tube any more than L (22 mm or 7/8“).
