BeltMinder௢chime.Sittingonthesafetybeltwillincreasethe
riskofinjuryinanaccident.Todisable(one-time)ordeactivatethe
BeltMinder௢featurepleasefollowthedirectionsstatedbelow.
Onetimedisable
Ifatanytimethedriver/frontpassengerquicklybucklesthenunbuckles
theBeltMinder௢featureforthatseatingposition,theBeltMinder௢is
disabledforthecurrentignitioncycle.TheBeltMinder௢featurewill
re-enableduringthesameignitioncycleiftheoccupantbucklesand
remainsbuckledforapproximately30seconds.Confirmationisnotgiven
fortheonetimedisable.
Deactivating/activatingtheBeltMinderிfeature
ThedriverandfrontpassengerBeltMinder௢are
deactivated/activatedindependently.Whendeactivating/activating
oneseatingposition,donotbuckletheotherpositionasthiswill
terminatetheprocess.
ReadSteps1-4thoroughlybeforeproceedingwiththe
deactivation/activationprogrammingprocedure.
ThedriverandfrontpassengerBeltMinder௢featurescanbe
deactivated/activatedbyperformingthefollowingprocedure:

STARTTHEENGINE)

Waituntilthesafetybeltwarninglightturnsoff.(Approximately1
minute)

Step3mustbecompletedwithin50secondsafterthesafetybelt
warninglightturnsoff.
