timeneededtocooldowntheinteriorofthevehicleandmayalsohelp
reduceundesiredodorsfromreachingtheinteriorofthevehicle.
RecirculatedairengagesautomaticallywhenMAXA/Cisselectedorcan
beengagedmanuallyinanyairflowmodeexcept
(defrost).
Recirculatedairmayturnoffautomaticallyinallairflowmodesexcept
MAXA/C.Whentheignitionswitchisturnedoffandbackon,the
climatesystemwillreturntotherecirculatedairmodeonlyiftheA/C
buttonLEDisilluminatedandtheairdistributionselectioniseither
(panel)or
(panel/floor).

MAXA/C:Distributesrecirculatedairthroughtheinstrumentpanel
ventstocoolthevehicle.Thisre-coolingoftheinteriorairismore
economicalandefficient.Recirculatedairmayalsohelpreduce
undesirableodorsfromenteringthevehicle.PresstheMAXA/Cbutton
againfornormalA/Coperation.

A/C:Presstoactivate/deactivateairconditioning.Usewith
recirculatedairtoimprovecoolingperformanceandefficiency.Engages
automaticallyinMAXA/C,      (defrost)and
(floor/defrost).

Driverheatedseatcontrol(ifequipped):Pressto
activate/deactivatethedriverheatedseat.SeeHeatedseatsinthe
SeatingandSafetyRestraintschapter.
Outsidetemperature(ifequipped):Theoutsidetemperaturewill
appearinthedisplayandislabeledEXTTEMP.
