STARTING AND OPERATING
releaseitassoonasthestarterengages.Thestartermotor      electrical outlet with a grounded, three-wire extension
will disengage automatically in 10 seconds. Once this
occurs, release the accelerator pedal, turn the ignition
switchtotheLOCKposition,wait10to15seconds,then
repeatthe“NormalStarting”procedure.

expectedtolastforseveraldays.
Theblockheatermustbepluggedinatleastonehourto
haveanadequatewarmingeffectonthecoolant.
CAUTION!

ondsbeforetryingagain.
Theengineblockheatercordislocated:

After Starting
The idle speed is controlled automatically, and it will  5.7Lharness.Engine — bundled and fastened to the injector
decreaseastheenginewarmsup.
ENGINE BLOCK HEATER — IF  EQUIPPED
WARNING!
Theengineblockheaterwarmstheengine,andpermits
quickerstartsincoldweather.Connecttheheatercordto
a ground-fault interrupter protected 110-115 Volt AC
Remember to disconnect the cord before driving.
Damagetothe110-115VoltACelectricalcordcould
causeelectrocution.
