Locking the doors
1.
Press
andreleasetolockallthedoors.Theparklampswillflash
onceandtheperimeteralarm(ifequipped)willstartthearmingprocess.
Formoreinformationconcerningtheperimeteralarm,referto
Perimeteralarmsystem(ifequipped)laterinthischapter.
2.
Press
andreleaseagainwithinthreesecondstoconfirmthatallthe
doorsareclosedandlocked.Note:Thedoorswilllockagainandthe
hornwillchirponce.
Ifanyofthedoorsorthehoodarenotproperlyclosedthehornwillnot
soundandtheparklampswillnotflash.
Sounding a panic alarm
Press
toactivatethealarm.Todeactivatethefeature,pressthe
controlagainorwaitforthealarmtotimeoutinapproximately3
minutes.
Note:Thepanicalarmwillonlyoperatewhentheignitionisinthe1
(LOCK)or2(ACC)position.
Replacing the battery
Theremoteentrytransmitterusesonecointypethree-voltlithium
batteryCR2032orequivalent.
Toreplacethebattery:
1.
Twistathincoinbetweenthetwo
halvesoftheremoteentry
transmitternearthekeyring.DO
NOTTAKETHERUBBERCOVER
ANDCIRCUITBOARDOFFTHE
FRONTHOUSINGOFTHE
REMOTEENTRYTRANSMITTER.
