temperaturesonplacessuchas
thedashboardorhood,under
directsunlight.
NOTE
Thekeylessentrysystemisdesignedto

operateuptoabout2.5m(8ft)fromthe
centerofthevehicle,butthismayvarydue
tolocalconditions.
Thesystemdoesn'toperatewhenthekeyis

intheignitionswitch.
Doorsandtheliftgatecannotbelockedby
l
pressingthelockbuttonwhileanyother
doorortheliftgateisopen.Also,thehazard
warninglightswillnotflash.
Ifthetransmitterdoesnotoperatewhen
l
pressingabuttonortheoperationrange
becomestoosmall,thebatterymaybe
dead.Toinstallanewbattery,referto
Maintenance(page3-5).
Additionaltransmitterscanbeobtainedat

anAuthorizedMazdaDealer.Upto3
transmitterscanbeusedwiththekeyless
entrysystempervehicle.Bringall
transmitterstoanAuthorizedMazda
