Ambient interior lighting (optional, standard
on S600 L and S65 AMG L). Ambient interior
lighting stylishly accentuates the cabin design
when driving at night. Its LEDs come on as
soon as the driver opens the door and make the
cabin feel even roomier and more welcoming.
Once the door is closed, the LEDs are automat-
ically dimmed to the preset level selected in
the COMAND multimedia system. There are
five brightness levels to choose from, as well as
three different colours: polar (ice blue), solar
(amber) and neutral (white).
The ambient interior lighting comprises a narrow band of LEDs running around the doors and dashboard. It is dimmable and offers
a choice of three colour settings
