To clean the wind shield , push in the end of the wiper knob for
a single wipe. For a constant spray, keep the knob pushed in.
After you release the knob, the wipers operate for tw o to three
cycles before tu rning off (if wipers were off) or retu rning to the
interval setting selected .
Do not try to clean the wind shield when the washer fluid
container is empty or activate the washers at any tim e for more
than 15 second s continu ously. This could dam age the washer
pump system .
NOTE: The addition of shield s to the fron t of the veh icle, as
used to deflect bugs, may also adversely affect the
wash er system from deliverin g flu id to the
windshield . Devices such as bug shield s are not
recom mended to be added to you r veh icle.
RWARN ING
In freezin g weath er, the wash er solu tion may freeze on
the windshield and obscure you r vision . Alw ays warm
up the windshield with the defroster before you use the
wash er flu id. If you cannot see throu gh the windshield
clearly, it can increase the risk of bein g involved in a
collision .
