THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE STARTING  YOUR VEHICLE
Infants  in rear  facing child  restraints  shou ld NEVER  rid e
in the front  seat of a vehicle with  a passenger  front  airbag.
An airbag  deploym ent  can cause severe  injury  or death  to
infants  in  that position.
You  shou ld  read   the  instru ctions   provid ed  with   you r
child restraint   to make sure  that you  are using  it prop erly.

All  occupants   should    wear  their   lap  and   shoulder
belts  prop erly.
Child ren  that  are  not  big  enou gh to  prop erly  wear  the
vehicle  seat belt  (see Section  on Child  Restraints)   shou ld
be  secured   in  the  rear  seat   in  child  restraints   or  belt-
positioning   booster  seats. Old er child ren  who do  not use
child  restraints   or  belt-p ositioning  booster   seats  shou ld
rid e prop erly  buckled   up  in the  rear  seat.  Never   allow
child ren to  slide the  shou lder belt  behind  them  or  und er
their  arm .
