Do  not  shu t off  the  engine   or interru  pt  the  ignition
when  the  transm ission  is in  gear and  the  vehicle  is in
motion.
WARNING!
Ahotexhaustsystemcanstartafireifyouparkover
materials that can burn. Such materials might be
grass or leaves coming into contact with your ex-
haustsystem.Donotparkoroperateyourvehiclein
areas where your exhaust system can contact any-
thingthatcanburn.
Do not try  to start  the engine  by pushing  or  tow ing the
vehicle.
•  Dodisconnectednot  idle   theor  remengineovedw, ithsuchanyas spwarkhen pdluiagnosticg  wires
testing.
In  unu sual  situ ations  involving   grossly  malfunctioning
engine  operation,   a  scorching  odor   may  suggest  severe
and  abnorm  al catalyst   overheating.   If  this  occurs,  stop
the  vehicle,   turn   off  the  engine   and  allow   it  to  cool.
Service,  inclu ding a tune  up  to manu  factu rer’s specifica-
tions,  shou ld be  obtained  immediately.

Do not  allow  vehicle  to run  out  of fuel.
Intentional   tam pering   with   emissions   control
