Ifyourvehicleshouldbecomestuckindeepsnowormud,tryswitching
theAdvanceTracwithRSCsystemoffbypressingtheAdvanceTrac
withRSCbuttonmomentarily.Thiswillallowyourtiresto“dig”for
traction.
IftheAdvanceTracwithRSCsystemisactivatedexcessivelyinashort
periodoftime,thebrakeportionofthesystemwilldisabletoallowthe
brakestocooldown.Inthissituation,TractionControlwilluseonly
enginepowerreductiontohelpcontrolthewheelsfromover-spinning.
Whenthebrakeshavecooleddown,thesystemwillagainfunction
normally.Anti-lockbraking,RSCandESCarenotaffectedbythis
conditionandwillfunctionnormallyduringthecool-downperiod.
Ifthevehicleisstuckinsnowormudorwhendrivingindeepsand,
switchingofftheAdvanceTracwithRSCsystemmaybebeneficialsothe
wheelsareallowedtospin.Ifyourvehicleseemstoloseenginepower
whiledrivingindeepsandorverydeepsnow,switchingoffthe
AdvanceTracwithRSCstabilityenhancementfeaturewillrestorefull
enginepowerandwillenhancemomentumthroughtheobstacle.
DuringTractionControleventsthe“slidingcar”iconintheinstrument
clusterwillflashmomentarily.
ElectronicStabilityControl(ESC)
TheElectronicStabilityControl(ESC)withRSCsystemmayenhance
yourvehicle’sstabilityduringadversemaneuvers.
TheAdvanceTracwithRSCsystemhelpsthedrivermaintainsteering
control.AdvanceTracwithRSCwillattempttocorrectthevehicle
motionbyapplyingbrakeforceatindividualtiresand,ifnecessary,by
reducingenginepower.
