BRAKE FLUID
Thefluidlevelwilldropslowlyas
thebrakeswear,andwillrisewhen
thebrakecomponentsarereplaced.
Fluidlevelsbetweenthe“MIN”and
“MAX”linesarewithinthenormal
operatingrange;thereisnoneedto
addfluid.Ifthefluidlevelsare
outsideofthenormaloperating
rangetheperformanceofthe
systemcouldbecompromised;seek
servicefromyourauthorizeddealerimmediately.
TRANSMISSION FLUID
Checking automatic transmission fluid
Theautomatictransmissiondoesnothaveanunderhoodtransmission
fluiddipstick.
Refertoyourscheduledmaintenanceinformationforscheduled
intervalsforfluidchecksandchanges.Yourtransmissiondoesnot
consumefluid.However,thefluidlevelshouldbecheckedifthe
transmissionisnotworkingproperly,(i.e.,ifthetransmissionslipsor
shiftsslowly)orifyounoticesomesignoffluidleakage.
