WhilethedesignallowsyoutodeactivateyourBelt-Minder ,this
systemisdesignedtoimproveyourchancesofbeingsafely
beltedandsurvivinganaccident.Werecommendyouleavethe
Belt-Mindersystemactivatedforyourselfandotherswhomayusethe
vehicle.Toreducetheriskofinjury,donotdeactivate/activatethe
Belt-Minderfeaturewhiledrivingthevehicle.

TurntheignitionswitchtotheRUN(orON)position.(DONOT
STARTTHEENGINE)

Waituntilthesafetybeltwarninglightturnsoff.(Approximately1–2
minutes)

Step3mustbecompletedwithin50secondsafterthesafetybelt
warninglightturnsoff.
3.
Fortheseatingpositionbeingdisabled,atamoderatespeed,buckle
thenunbucklethesafetybelt9times,endingintheunbuckledstate.

AfterStep3,thesafetybeltwarninglightwillbeturnedonforthree
seconds.

Within10secondsofthelightturningon,atamoderatespeed,buckle
thenunbucklethesafetybelt.

iscurrentlyenabled.Asconfirmation,thesafetybeltwarninglightwill
flash4timespersecondfor3seconds.
ThiswillenabletheBelt-Minderfeatureforthatseatingpositionifit
iscurrentlydisabled.Asconfirmation,thesafetybeltwarninglightwill
flash4timespersecondfor3seconds,followedby3secondswiththe
lightoff,thenfollowedbythesafetybeltwarninglightflashing4times
persecondfor3secondsagain.
