Thisfeatureattemptstohelppreventyoufromlockingyourselfoutof
thevehicleifyourkeyisstillintheignition.
Whenyouopenoneofthefrontdoorsandyoulockthevehiclewiththe
powerdoorlockcontrol(onthedriverorpassengerdoortrimpanel),all
thedoorswilllock,thenalldoorswillautomaticallyunlockreminding
youthatyourkeyisstillintheignition.
Thevehiclecanstillbelocked,withthekeyintheignition,usingthe
manuallockcontrolonthedoor,lockingthedriver’sdoorwithakey,or
usingthelockcontrolontheremoteentrytransmitterportionofyour
IntegratedKeyheadTransmitter.
Ifbothfrontdoorsareclosed,thevehiclecanbelockedfromany
method,regardlessofwhetherthekeyisintheignitionornot.
Power door lock/unlock inhibit feature
Asatheftdeterrent,thepowerdoorlockcontrolsandtheinteriortrunk
releasecontrolcanbedisabled20secondsaftertheignitionhasbeen
turnedtothe1(LOCK)positionandthevehicleislockedusinganyof
thefollowing:

RemoteentrytransmitterportionofyourIntegratedKeyhead
Transmitter,or
Driverpowerdoorlockcontrol(Note:Thedriver’sdoormustbe
open,thenclosed).
Thedoorlockcontrolsarereenabledwhenanyofthefollowingoccurs:

UnlockusingtheremoteentrytransmitterportionofyourIKT,
Openinganydoorfromtheinteriorofthevehicle,or
Turningthekeyintheignitiontothe3(RUN)position.
