YourvehiclehasLATCHanchorsforchildseatinstallationattheseating
positionsmarkedwiththechildseatsymbol.
Theanchorsatthecenterofthe
rearseatarefurtherapartthanthe
setsofloweranchorsforchildseat
installationatotherseating
positions.Achildseatwithrigid
LATCHattachmentscannotbe
installedatthisseatingposition.
LATCHcompatiblechildseats(with
attachmentsonbeltwebbing)can
beusedatthisseatingpositiononlyifthechildseatinstructionsstate
thatthechildseatcanbeinstalledtoanchorsthatarespacedupto
20
inches(500mm)apart.Donotattachachildseattoanylower
anchorifanadjacentchildseatisattachedtothatanchor.
NeverattachtwoLATCHchildsafetyseatstothesameanchor.
Inacrash,oneanchormaynotbestrongenoughtoholdtwo
childsafetyseatattachmentsandmaybreak,causingseriousinjuryor
death.
