REAR LIFTGATE
Theliftgateareaisonlyintendedforcargo,notpassengers.Youcanopen
andclosetheliftgatefromoutsidethevehicle.Itcannotbeopenedfrom
insidethecargoarea.
•
Toopentheliftgatewindow,
pressthecontrolontheremote
entrytransmitteror,withthe
liftgateunlocked,pressthe
controlbuttonontherightside
underthelicenseplatelamp
shield.
•
Toopentheliftgate,unlockthe
liftgate(withthepowerdoor
locks,theremoteentryorthe
keylessentrypad)andpullthe
middleleverunderthelicenseplatelampshield.
Tolocktheliftgateandtheliftgatewindow,usethepowerdoorlocks.
Theliftgatedoorandwindowshouldbeclosedbeforedriving.Ifnot,
possibledamagemayoccurtoyourvehicle.
WARNING:Alwayscloseliftgatewindowbeforeopeningliftgate.
Liftgateglassandliftgateshouldneverbeopenatthesame
time.Failuretoobservethiswarningmayresultinpersonalinjuryor
damagetoyourvehicle.
WARNING:Makesuretheliftgatedoorand/orwindoware
closedtopreventexhaustfumesfrombeingdrawnintothe
vehicle.Thiswillalsoreducetheriskofpassengersandcargofalling
out.
