Theengineblockheatercordislocated:
Theidlespeedwillautomaticallydecreaseastheengine
warmsup.
3.7L/4.7LEngine—coiledandstrappedtotheengine
oildipsticktube.
5.7L Engine — bundled and fastened to the injector
harness.
CAUTION!
Long periods of engine idling, especially at high
enginespeedscancauseexcessiveexhausttempera-
tureswhichcandamageyourvehicle.Donotleave
yourvehicleunattendedwiththeenginerunning.
WARNING!
Remember to disconnect the cord before driving.
Damagetothe110-115voltACelectricalcordcould
causeelectrocution.
ENGINEBLOCKHEATER—IFEQUIPPED
The engine block heater warms engine coolant and
permitsquickerstartsincoldweather.Connectthecord
to a standard 110-115 volt AC electrical outlet with
grounded,threewireextensioncord.
Usetheheaterwhentemperaturesbelow0°F(-18°C)are
expectedtolastforseveraldays.
