VARI-LOKREARAXLE—IFEQUIPPED
TheoptionalVari-Lokaxleisfullyautomaticandrequires
nodriverinputtooperate.Undernormaldrivingcondi-
tions the unit functions as a standard axle balancing
torque evenly between left and right wheels. With a
traction difference between left and right wheels the
coupling will sense a speed difference. As one wheel
beginstospinfasterthantheother,torquewillautomati-
callytransferfromthewheelthathaslesstractiontothe
wheelthathastraction.
