systemcannotbesecuredinthefront
passenger'sseatandshouldbeusedinthe
rearseat.
Don'tallowanyonetosleepagainstthe
sidewindowifyouhaveanoptionalside
andcurtainairbag,itcouldcauseserious
injuriestoanoutofpositionoccupant.As
childrenmoreoftensleepincars,itis
bettertoputthemintherearseat.If
installingthechild-restraintsystemonthe
frontseatisunavoidable,followthese
instructionswhenusingafront-facing
child-restraintsysteminthefront
passenger'sseat.
Usethetetherandtetheranchoronly
forachild-restraintsystem:

secureanythingbutachild-restraint
systemisdangerous.Thiscould
weakenordamagethetetherortether
anchorandresultininjury.
Alwaysroutethetetherstrapforthe
center-rearseatpositiontothecorrect
tetheranchorposition:
Routingthetetherstrapforthecenter-
rearseatpositiontooneoftheother
tetheranchorpositionsonthe
outboardseatbacksisdangerous.Ina
collision,thetetherstrapcouldslide
andloosenthechild-restraintsystem.
Thechild-restraintsystemcouldmove
whichmayresultindeathorinjuryto
thechild.
