Removingtheauxiliarykey
Pullouttheauxiliarykeyfromthe
advancedkey.
NOTE
Thepanicbuttonwillworkwhetherany
doorortheliftgateisopenorclosed.
(Turningonthealarm)
Pressingthepanicbuttonfor1secondor
morewilltriggerthealarmforabout2
minutesand30seconds,andthe
followingwilloccur:
Thehornsoundsintermittently.

Thehazardwarninglightsflash.

Locking,unlockingthedoors
Thedoorscanbelocked/unlockedusing
theauxiliarykey,refertoLocking,
UnlockingwithKey(page3-28).
However,ifthedriveristooclosetothe
vehiclethepanicbuttonmaynot
function.
Startingtheengine
(Turningoffthealarm)
Thealarmstopsbypressinganybuttonon
thetransmitter.
Theenginecanbestartedwiththe
auxiliarykey,refertoStartingtheEngine
(page5-3).
