MANUFACTURER’S LIMITED WARRANTY
Thelimitedwarrantyset forthbelowisgivenbyMTDLLCwithrespect
d. Servicecompletedbysomeoneother thananauthorizedservice
tonewmerchandisepurchasedandusedintheUnitedStatesand/or its
territoriesandpossessions, andbyMTDProductsLimitedwithrespect to
newmerchandisepurchasedandusedinCanadaand/or itsterritoriesand
possessions(either entityrespectively, “MTD”).
MTDwarrantsthisproduct (excludingitsnormal wear partsasdescribed
below) against defectsinmaterial andworkmanshipfor aperiodof two
dealer.
e. MTDdoesnot extendanywarrantyfor productssoldor exported
outsideof theUnitedStatesand/or Canada, andtheir respectivepos-
sessionsandterritories, except thosesoldthroughMTD’sauthorized
channelsof export distribution.
f. Replacement partsthat arenot genuineMTDparts.
g. Transportationchargesandservicecalls.

yearscommencingonthedateof original purchaseandwill, at its
option, repair or replace, freeof charge, anypart foundtobedefective
inmaterialsor workmanship. Thislimitedwarrantyshall onlyapplyif
thisproduct hasbeenoperatedandmaintainedinaccordancewiththe
Operator’sManual furnishedwiththeproduct, andhasnot beensubject to
misuse, abuse, commercial use, neglect, accident, improper maintenance,
alteration, vandalism, theft, fire, water, or damagebecauseof other peril or
natural disaster. Damageresultingfromtheinstallationor useof anypart,
accessoryor attachment not approvedbyMTDfor usewiththeproduct(s)
coveredbythismanual will voidyour warrantyastoanyresultingdamage.

Commercial Warrantiesoncertainselect products. Askyour dealer or
retailer for detailsor contact MTDServicefor moreinformation.)
Noimpliedwarranty, includinganyimpliedwarrantyof merchant-
abilityof fitnessforaparticularpurpose, appliesaftertheapplicable
periodof expresswrittenwarrantyaboveastothepartsasidenti-
fied. Nootherexpresswarranty, whetherwrittenororal, except as
mentionedabove, givenbyanypersonorentity, includingadealer
orretailer, withrespect toanyproduct, shall bindMTD. Duringthe
periodof thewarranty, theexclusiveremedyisrepairorreplacement
of theproduct asset forthabove.
Normal wear partsarewarrantedtobefreefromdefectsinmaterial and
workmanshipfor aperiodof thirty(30) daysfromthedateof purchase.
Normal wear partsinclude, but arenot limitedtoitemssuchas: batteries,
belts, blades, bladeadapters, grassbags, rider deckwheels, seats, snow
thrower skidshoes, frictionwheels, shaveplates, auger spiral rubber and
tires.
Theprovisionsasset forthinthiswarrantyprovidethesoleand
exclusiveremedyarisingfromthesale. MTDshall not beliable
forincidental orconsequential lossordamageincluding, without
limitation, expensesincurredforsubstituteorreplacement lawncare
servicesorforrental expensestotemporarilyreplaceawarranted
product.

PROOFOFPURCHASE, throughyour local authorizedservicedealer. To

Somejurisdictionsdonot allowtheexclusionor limitationof incidental or

IMPORTANT: Owner must present Original Proof of Purchasetoobtain

c. Routinemaintenanceitemssuchaslubricants, filters, blade
sharpening, tune-ups, brakeadjustments, clutchadjustments, deck
adjustments, andnormal deteriorationof theexterior finishduetouse
or exposure.
