Installthedipstickmakingsureitisfullyseatedinthefillertube.
Removethedipstickandinspectthefluidlevel.Thefluidshouldbein
thecrosshatchzonefornormaloperatingtemperature.

Donotdrivethevehicleifthefluid
levelisatthebottomofthedipstick
andtheoutsidetemperaturesare
above50°F(10°C).
Correctfluidlevel
Thetransmissionfluidshouldbecheckedatnormaloperating
temperatures150°F-170°F(66°C-77°C)onalevelsurface.Thenormal
operatingtemperaturecanbereachedafterapproximately20miles
(30
km)ofdriving.
Thetransmissionfluidshouldbein
thecrosshatchzoneifatnormal
