Locking the doors
1.
Press
andreleasetolockallthedoors.Assumingallvehicledoors
andtheliftgateareproperlyclosed,thepark/turnlampswillflashonce
andtheperimeteralarm(ifequipped)willstartthearmingprocess.For
moreinformationconcerningtheperimeteralarm,refertoPerimeter
alarmsystem(ifequipped)laterinthischapter.
2.
Press
andreleaseagainwithinthreesecondstoconfirmthatallthe
doorsandliftgateareclosedandlocked.Note:Thedoorswilllockagain
andthehornwillchirponce.
Ifanyofthedoorsorthehoodarenotproperlyclosed,thehornwill
chirptwiceandpark/turnlampswillnotflashwhenthe
pressed.

Sounding a panic alarm
Press
toactivatethealarm.Todeactivatethefeature,pressthe
controlagain,turntheignitiontothe3(RUN)or4(START)position,or
waitforthealarmtotimeoutinapproximately3minutes.
Note:Thepanicalarmwillonlyoperatewhentheignitionisinthe1
(LOCK)position.
Replacing the battery
Theremoteentrytransmitterusesonecointypethree-voltlithium
batteryCR2032orequivalent.
Toreplacethebattery:
1.
Twistathincoinbetweenthetwo
halvesoftheremoteentry
transmitternearthekeyring.DO
NOTTAKETHERUBBERCOVER
ANDCIRCUITBOARDOFFTHE
FRONTHOUSINGOFTHE
REMOTEENTRYTRANSMITTER.
