ToDisarmtheSystem
To disarm the system, use the remote keyless entry
transmitter. Also, using a valid sentry key and moving
the ignition switch to the ON/START position will
disarmthesystem.Ifsomethinghastriggeredthesystem
in your absence, the horn will sound three times when
youunlockthedoors.Checkthevehiclefortampering.
ILLUMINATEDENTRY
The interior lights come on when you open any door.
Theywillremainonforabout30secondsafteralldoors
areclosedthenfadetooff.
Thelightsalsowillfadetooffifyouturnontheignition
afteryoucloseallthedoors.
The SecurityAlarm System is designed to protect your
vehicle; however, you can create conditions where the
system will arm unexpectedly. If you remain in the
vehicleandlockthedoorswiththetransmitter,oncethe
system is armed (after 16 seconds), when you move
insideofthevehicleoryoupullthedoorhandletoexit
the alarm will sound. If this occurs, press the “Unlock”
buttonontheremotekeylessentrytransmittertodisarm
REMOTEKEYLESSENTRY
This system allows you to lock or unlock the doors,
liftgate,oractivatethepanicalarmfromdistancesupto
about 23 feet (7 meters) using a hand held transmitter.
Thetransmitterdoesnotneedtobepointedatthevehicle
toactivatethesystem.
