Compass Display
The compass readings indicate the direction
the vehicle is facing. Press and release the
COMPASS/TEMPERATUREbuttontodisplay
oneofeightcompassreadingsandtheoutside
temperature.
ElapsedTime
Showsthetotalelapsedtimeoftravelsincethelastreset
whentheignitionswitchisintheACCposition.Elapsed
timewillincrementwhentheignitionswitchisintheON
orSTARTposition.
AutomaticCompassCalibration
Whenthevehicleisnew,thecompassmayappearerratic
and the EVIC will display “CAL” until the compass is
calibrated. To complete the calibration process, drive
slowly(5mph/8km/h)inoneormorecompletecircles
in an area, free from magnetic material until the CAL
indicatordisplayedintheEVICturnsoff.TheCompass
willnowfunctionnormally.
