MAINTAINING YOUR VEHICLE
BULB REPLACEMENT
NOTE: OnvehiclesequippedwithHighIntensityDis-
chargeHeadlights(HID),whentheheadlightsareturned
on,thereisabluehuetothelights.Thisdiminishesand
becomesmorewhiteafterapproximately10seconds,as
thesystemcharges.
High Intensity Discharge Headlights (HID)  — If
Equipped
Theheadlightsareatypeofhighvoltagedischargetube.
High voltage can remain in the circuit even with the
headlight switch off and the key removed. Because of
this,youshouldnotattempttoserviceaheadlightbulb
yourself.Ifaheadlightbulbfails,takeyourvehicleto
anauthorizeddealerforservice.
WARNING!
Atransienthightensionoccursatthebulbsocketsof
HighIntensityDischarge(HID)headlightswhenthe
headlightswitchisturnedON.Itmaycauseserious
electricalshockorelectrocutionifnotservicedprop-
erly.Seeyourauthorizeddealerforservice.
