removethefilterfromthevehicle
andlightlyshakethefiltertorelease
loosedustanddirt.Ifthefilter
remainscakedwithdirt,anewfilter
isrequired.

Toinspectorreplacetheengine
aircleaner/filter:
Inspecttheaircleaner/filter  atthe
Maintenance IIintervals andreplace
itatthefirstoilchangeaftereach

Turntheignition  off.
3. Disconnect theelectrical
connector fromtheairbox.

Ifyouaredrivingindusty/dirty
conditions, inspectthefilterateach
engineoilchange.

Loosenthescrewontheclamp
holdingtheairoutletductin
place.Donotremovetheclamp.
Movetheductaside.

Removethehosefromtheair
cleanerhousingmounting  arm.
Movethehoseaside.
2.
Removethesidecoverby
pullinguponthefrontofthe
cover.
