vehicle. Therepairswouldnotbe
coveredbythevehiclewarranty.
Alwaysconnectandremovethe
jumpercablesinthecorrect
order,makingsurethatthe
cablesdonottoucheachotheror
othermetal.
Todisconnect thejumpercables
frombothvehicles,  dothefollowing:
1.
Disconnect theblack
negative(−)cablefromthe
vehiclethathadthedead
battery.
2. Disconnect theblack
negative(−)cablefromthe
vehiclewiththegoodbattery.
3.
Disconnect theredpositive(+)
cablefromthevehiclewiththe
goodbattery.
JumperCableRemoval
A. Heavy,Unpainted MetalEngine
PartorRemoteNegative(−)
Terminal
4. Disconnect theredpositive(+)
cablefromtheothervehicle.
B. GoodBatteryorRemote
Positive(+)andRemote
Negative(− )Terminals
C. DeadBatteryorRemote
Positive(+)Terminal
