Notice: Usingcoolantother
thanDEX-COOL®cancause
premature engine,heatercore,
orradiator corrosion. Inaddition,
theenginecoolantcouldrequire
changingsooner,at50000km
Thecoolingsystemallowsthe
enginetomaintainthecorrect
workingtemperature.
Anelectric enginecoolingfan
underthehoodcanstartupeven
whentheengineisnotrunning
andcancauseinjury.Keep
hands,clothing, andtoolsaway
fromanyunderhood  electric fan.
Whenyoudecideitissafetoliftthe
hood,hereiswhatyouwillsee:
(30,000
miles)or24months,
whichever occursfirst.Any
repairswouldnotbecoveredby
thevehiclewarranty.Alwaysuse
DEX-COOL®(silicate-free) coolant
inthevehicle.
{WARNING
Heaterandradiator  hoses,and
otherengineparts,canbevery
hot.Donottouchthem.Ifyoudo,
youcanbeburned.
EngineCoolant
Thecoolingsysteminthevehicle
forallenginesandtheintercooler
isfilledwithDEX-COOL® .This
coolantisdesigned  toremaininthe
vehicleforfiveyearsor240000km
(150,000 miles),whichever occurs
first.
Donotruntheengineifthereisa
leak.Ifyouruntheengine,it
couldloseallcoolant.  Thatcould
causeanenginefire,andyou
couldbeburned.Getanyleak
fixedbeforeyoudrivethevehicle.
