STARTING AND OPERATING
The rear axle lock will disengage if the vehicle is taken
outof4L(Low)range,ortheignitionswitchisturnedto
theOFFposition.
ELECTRONIC SWAY BAR DISCONNECT —  IF
EQUIPPED
Yourvehiclemaybeequippedwithanelectronicdiscon-
necting stabilizer/sway bar. This system allows greater
frontsuspensiontravelinoff-roadsituations.
ThissystemiscontrolledbytheelectroniccontrolSWAY
BARswitchlocatedonthelowerswitchbank(belowthe
climatecontrols).
SwayBarSwitch
PresstheSWAYBARswitchtoactivatethesystem.Press
theswitchagaintodeactivatethesystem.TheSwayBar
Indicator Light (located in the instrument cluster) will
illuminate when the bar is disconnected. The Sway Bar
IndicatorLightwillflashduringactivationtransition,or
