headlamp wiringcheckedrightaway
ifthelampsgoonandoffor
remainoff.

Thewiringcircuits  inthevehicleare
protected fromshortcircuits bya
combination offusesandcircuit
breakers. Thisgreatlyreducesthe
chanceofdamagecausedby
electrical problems.
Thevehiclehasfusesandcircuit
breakers toprotectagainstan
electrical systemoverload.
WindshieldWipers
Whenthecurrentelectrical  loadis
tooheavy,thecircuitbreakeropens
andcloses,protecting  thecircuit
untilthecurrentloadreturnsto
normalortheproblemisfixed.This
greatlyreducesthechanceofcircuit
overload andfirecausedby
Ifthewipermotoroverheats   dueto
heavysnoworice,thewindshield
wiperswillstopuntilthemotorcools
andwillthenrestart.
Tocheckafuse,lookatthe
silver-colored bandinsidethefuse.
Ifthebandisbrokenormelted,
replacethefuse.Besuretoreplace
abadfusewithanewoneofthe
identical sizeandrating.
Althoughthecircuitisprotected
fromelectrical overload, overload
duetoheavysnoworice,may
causewiperlinkagedamage.
Alwayscleariceandheavysnow
fromthewindshield  beforeusingthe
windshield wipers.

betemporarily borrowedfrom
anotherfuselocation,  ifafusegoes
out.Replacethefuseassoonas
