Inflatethetiretothe
Notice: Iftherecommended
pressurecannotbereachedafter
approximately 25minutes,the
vehicleshouldnotbedriven
farther.Thetireistooseverely
damagedandthetiresealantand
compressor kitcannotinflatethe
tire.Removethepowerplugfrom
theaccessory poweroutletand
unscrewtheinflating  hosefrom
thetirevalve.SeeRoadside
Serviceonpage12‑8.
Becarefulwhilehandling  the
tiresealantandcompressor  kit
asitcouldbewarmafter
usage.
recommended inflation pressure
usingthepressuregauge(E).
Therecommended inflation
pressure canbefoundonthe
TireandLoadingInformation
label.SeeTirePressure  on
page 9‑59.

Unplugthepowerplug(C)from
theaccessory poweroutletin
thevehicle.
12. Turnthesealant/air  hose(G)
counterclockwise toremoveit
fromthetirevalvestem.
Thepressure gauge(E)may
readhigherthantheactualtire
pressure whilethecompressor is
on.Turnthecompressor  offto
getanaccurate  pressure
reading. Thecompressor may
beturnedon/offuntilthecorrect
pressure isreached.
13. Replacethetirevalve
stemcap.
10. Presstheon/offbutton(D)to
turnthetiresealantand
compressor kitoff.
14.
Replacethesealant/air
hose(G),andthepower
plug(C)backintheiroriginal
location.
Thetireisnotsealedandwill
continue toleakairuntilthe
vehicleisdrivenandthe
sealantisdistributed  inthetire,
therefore, Steps11through
17
mustbedoneimmediately
afterStep10.
