Thebatterysaverwillshutofftheinteriorlamps40minutesafterthe
ignitionhasbeenturnedtotheOFFposition.
SECURILOCKி PASSIVE ANTI-THEFT SYSTEM
SecuriLock௢passiveanti-theftsystemisanengineimmobilization
system.Thissystempreventstheenginefrombeingstartedunlessa
codedkeyprogrammedtoyourvehicleisused.
TheSecuriLock௢passiveanti-theftsystemisnotcompatiblewith
non-Fordaftermarketremotestartsystems.Useofthesesystemsmay
resultinvehiclestartingproblemsandalossofsecurityprotection.
Automatic arming
Thevehicleisarmedapproximately
15
secondsafterswitchingthe
ignitiontothe2(ACC)position.
The THEFT  lightintheinstrument
clusterwillflasheverytwoseconds
whenthevehicleisarmed.
Automatic disarming
Switchingtheignitiontothe4(ON)positionwithacodedkeydisarms
thevehicle.The    THEFT lightwillilluminateforthreesecondsandthen
goout.Ifthe     THEFT lightstaysonforanextendedperiodoftimeor
flashesrapidly,havethesystemservicedbyyourdealershipora
qualifiedtechnician.
Key information
Yourvehicleissuppliedwithtwo
codedkeys.Onlyacodedkeywill
startyourvehicle.Sparecodedkeys
canbepurchasedfromyour
dealership.Yourdealershipcan
programyourkeyoryoucan“doit
yourself”,refertoProgramming
