CLEANING THE WHEEL RIMS AND COVERS

Someautomaticcarwashesmaycausedamagetothefinishonyour
wheelrimsorcovers.Chemical-strengthcleaners,orcleaningchemicals,
incombinationwithbrushagitationtoremovebrakedustanddirt,could
wearawaytheclearcoatfinishovertime.
Donotusehydrofluoricacid-basedorhighcaustic-basedwheel
cleaners,steelwool,fuelsorstronghouseholddetergentsfor
soiledwheelrimsandcovers.
Neverapplyanycleaningchemicaltohotorwarmwheelrimsorcovers.
CleanwheelrimsandcoverswithDetailWash(ZC-3–A),whichis
availablefromyourauthorizedFord,LincolnorMercurydealer.Spray
cleaneroncoolwheelrimsorcoversandallowtosetfor2–5minutes.
Agitatetheareawithaspongeandrinseoffwithplentyofwater.
UseExtraStrengthTarandRoadOilRemoval(B7A-19520–AA),
availablefromyourauthorizedFord,LincolnorMercurydealer,inorder
toremovetarandgreasefromwheelrimsandcovers.
