STARTING AND OPERATING
forw ard until  it makes  contact  with  the object.  Apply  the
throttle  lightly  while  hold ing  a light  brake  pressu re  and
ease  the vehicle  up  and  over  the  object.
CAUTIO N!
Red uced  tire pressu  res may  cause  tire  unseatin  g and
total  loss  of  air  pressu  re.  To red uce  the  risk  of  tire
unseatin  g,  while  at  a  red uced  tire   pressu re,  red uce
you r speed   and  avoid  sharp  turns   or abrupt   maneu-
vers.
WARN ING!
Crossin g  obstacles   can cause  abrupt   steerin  g system
load ing  which   could   cause  you  to  loose   control   of
you r veh icle.

Usin g a Spotter
While driving   off-road , you will encou nter  many typ es of
terrain.   These  varying   typ es  of  terrain   bring   different
typ es of  obstacles.   Before  proceed ing,  review   the  path
ahead  to determ ine  the correct  approach  and  you r ability
to  safely  recover  the  vehicle   if som ething   goes  wrong.
Keeping   a  firm  grip  on   the  steering   wheel,   bring  the
vehicle   to  a  complete   stop  and   then   inch  the  vehicle
There  are many  times  where  it is hard  to see the  obstacle
or  determ ine  the  correct  path.   Determ ining  the  correct
path  can be extrem ely difficult  when  you  are confronting
many  obstacles.  In these  cases,  have  som eone guide  you
over,  throu gh,  or arou nd  the  obstacle.  Have  the  person
stand  a  safe distance  in  front  of you  where  they  can  see
the  obstacle,   watch   you r tires  and   und ercarriage,   and
guide  you  throu gh.
