Towingatrailer
Drivingvehiclesequippedwithacamperbody
Drivingvehicleswithaloadonthecargorack
Drivecautiouslywhenusingafull-sizedissimilarsparetire/wheeland
seekserviceassoonaspossible.
Stoppingandsecuringthevehicle
1.
Ifyougetaflattirewhiledriving,
donotapplythebrakeheavily;
instead,graduallydecreaseyour
speed.Holdthesteeringwheel
firmlyandslowlymovetoasafe
placeonthesideoftheroad.
2.
Parkonalevelsurface,activate
thehazardflashersandsetthe
parkingbrake.
3.
PlacegearshiftleverinP(Park)
andturnengineOFF.
Whenoneoftherearwheelsisofftheground,thetransmission
alonewillnotpreventthevehiclefrommovingorslippingoffthe
jack,evenifthetransmissionisinP(Park).
Note:Passengersshouldnotremain
inthevehiclewhenthevehicleis
beingjacked.
4.
Blockthewheelthatisdiagonally
oppositeoftheflattireusingthe
wheelchockprovidedwithyour
vehicle.
