Thedriverandfrontpassengersafetybeltsareunbuckled
WARNING:Whilethedesignallowsyoutodeactivateyour
Belt-Minder,thissystemisdesignedtoimproveyourchancesof
beingsafelybeltedandsurvivinganaccident.Werecommendyou
leavetheBelt-Mindersystemactivatedforyourselfandotherswho
mayusethevehicle.Toreducetheriskofinjury,donot
deactivate/activatetheBelt-Minderfeaturewhiledrivingthevehicle.

Turntheignitionswitchtotheonposition.DONOTSTARTTHE
ENGINE.
2.
Waituntilthesafetybeltwarninglightturnsoff(Approximatelyone
minute).

Step3mustbecompletedwithin30secondsafterthesafetybelt
warninglightturnsoff.

Fortheseatingpositionbeingdisabled,bucklethenunbucklethe
safetybeltthreetimes,endingintheunbuckledstate.
•
AfterStep3,thesafetybeltwarninglightwillbeturnedonforthree
seconds.
4.
Withinapproximatelysevensecondsofthelightturningoff,buckle
thenunbucklethesafetybelt.
•
ThiswilldisabletheBelt-Minderfeatureforthatseatingpositionifit
iscurrentlyenabled.Asconfirmation,thesafetybeltwarninglightwill
flashfourtimespersecondforthreeseconds.
•
ThiswillenabletheBelt-Minderfeatureforthatseatingpositionifit
iscurrentlydisabled.Asconfirmation,thesafetybeltwarninglightwill
flashfourtimespersecondforthreeseconds,followedbythree
secondswiththelightoff,thenfollowedbythesafetybeltwarning
lightflashingfourtimespersecondforthreesecondsagain.
•
Afterreceivingconfirmation,thedeactivation/activationprocedureis
complete.
