Forinformationonactivating/deactivatingtheautolockfeatureusingthe
vehicle’smessagecenter,refertoMessagecenterinformationinthe
DriverControlschapter.
Autounlock
Theautounlockfeaturewillunlockallthedoorswhen:

theignitionisintheonposition,allthedoorsareclosed,andthe
vehiclehasbeeninmotionataspeedgreaterthan12mph(20km/h);
thevehiclehasthencometoastopandtheignitionisturnedtothe
offoraccessoryposition;and
thedriverdoorisopenedwithin10minutesoftheignitionbeing
transitionedtotheofforaccessoryposition.
Note:Thedoorswillnotautounlockifthevehiclehasbeen
electronicallylockedbeforethedriverdoorisopened.
Deactivating/activatingautounlock
Yourvehiclecomeswiththeautounlockfeatureactivated.Therearefour
methodstoenable/disablethisfeature:

Throughyourauthorizeddealer,or
byusingthepowerdoorunlock/locksequence,
Performingthekeylessentrykeypadprocedure(ifequipped),or
Performingthemessagecenterprocedure.
Note:Theautounlockfeaturecanbeactivated/deactivated
independentlyoftheautolockfeature.
Powerdoorlockswitchautounlockenable/disableprocedure
Beforestarting,ensuretheignitionisintheoffpositionandallvehicle
doorsareclosed.YoumustcompleteSteps1–5within30secondsorthe
procedurewillhavetoberepeated.Iftheprocedureneedstobe
repeated,waitaminimumof30secondsbeforebeginningagain.
