lowered.
Reclipthetoolsontothejack
makingsurethatthetoolsare
fullycontainedbytheclipsas
shown.
Reinstallthejackinthepocket
withtheleftsidefirst,thensnap
therightsidedown.
Ensurethatthehold-strap
containsthejackandtoolsbeforesnappingthebuckle.
Ensurethatthejackandtoolsareorientedasillustrated.
Stowingtheflat/sparetire
Note:Failuretofollowsparetirestowageinstructionsmayresultin
failureofcableorlossofsparetire.
Ifyouarestowingatirethatrequiresreattachingittothe
vehiclewithatether,performthesestepsfirst,thenproceedwith
thestepsfollowing.
1.
Placetireonendwithvalvestem
facingrearward,awayfromvehicle.
2.
Placetetherintoboltholesin
wheelandattachlugnutusinglug
wrench.
3.
Laythetireonthegroundwiththevalvestemfacingdown.Ifyour
vehicleisequippedwithaluminumwheels,removethewheelornament.
4.
Slidethewheelpartiallyunderthevehicleandinstalltheretainer
throughthecenterofthewheel.
5.
Turnthejackhandleclockwiseuntilthetireisraisedtoitsoriginal
positionunderneaththevehicle.Theefforttoturnthejackhandle
increasessignificantlyasthetirecontactstheframe.Thesparetire
carrierwillratchetwhenthetireisinthefullystowedposition.The
