Theremoteentrysystemallowsyou
tolockorunlockallvehicledoors
withoutakey.Theremotefeature
willonlyoperatewhentheignition
isinthe1(LOCK)or2(ACC)
position.
Ifthereisaproblemwiththe
remoteentrysystemmakesureto
takeALLremoteentry
transmitterswithyoutothe
dealership,thiswillaidin
troubleshootingtheproblem.
Unlocking the doors
1.
Press
andreleasetounlockthedriver’sdoor.Note:Theinterior
lampswillilluminate,ifthecontrolontheoverheadlampisinthe
DOORposition,theflasherswillflashtwice,andtheperimeteralarm
system(ifequipped)willdeactivate.
2.
Press
andreleaseagainwithinthreesecondstounlockthe
passengerdoors,theliftgateandliftgateglass.
Theremoteentrysystemactivatestheilluminatedentryfeature.This
featureturnsonalltheinteriorlampsfor30secondsoruntiltheignition
isturnedtotheRUNposition.Ifthedomelampcontrol(ifequipped)is
intheoffposition,theilluminatedentryfeaturewillnotwork.
Theinsidelightswillnotturnoffif:

theyhavebeenturnedonusingthedomelampcontrolor
anydoorisopen.
Thebatterysaverfeaturewillturnofftheinteriorlamps40minutesafter
theignitionisturnedtotheOFFposition.
Locking the doors
1.
Press
andreleasetolockallthedoors.Theparklampswillflash
onceandtheperimeteralarm(ifequipped)willbestartthearming
process.Formoreinformationconcerningtheperimeteralarm,refer
toPerimeteralarmsystem(ifequipped)laterinthischapter.
2.
Press
andreleaseagainwithinthreesecondstoconfirmthatall
thedoorsareclosedandlocked.
Ifanyofthedoorsorthehoodarenotproperlyclosedthehornwillnot
soundandtheparklampswillnotflash.
