Alw ays  place  cargo   evenly   on  the  cargo   floor.  Put
heavier  objects  as low  and  as far  forw ard as  possible.
WARN ING!
Cargo  tie-d owns   are  not  safe  anchors   for  a child
seat  teth er  strap . In  a  sudden   stop  or  collision  , a
tie-d own  could  pull  loose  and  allow  the child   seat
to come  loose.  A child  could  be badly  injured  . Use
only  the  anchors  provid  ed  for child   seat  teth ers.
Place  as  much  cargo  as  possible   in front   of the  rear
axle.  Too much   weight  or  improp erly  placed   weight
oversway.or  behind   the rear  axle  can  cause  the  vehicle  to  3
Do not  pile luggage  or cargo  higher  than the  top of the
seatback.   This  could   impair   visibility   or   becom e a
dangerou  s projectile  in  a sudden   stop or  collision.
The  weigh t  and  position   of cargo  and  passen  gers
can  change   the  veh icle  center  of  gravity   and  ve-
hicle  handlin  g.  To avoid   loss  of control   resu ltin g
in  person  al  injury,    follow   these   guidelin  es   for
load ing  you r veh icle:

To  help  protect   again st  person  al injury,   passen  gers
should   not  be seated   in the  rear  cargo  area.  The  rear
cargo  space   is inten  ded  for  load   carryin g  purposes
only,  not for  passen gers,  who  should   sit  in seats  and
use  seat  belts.
Do  not  carry   load s that   exceed   the  load  limits   de-
scribed  on  the  label  attached   to  the  left  door  or  left
door  center  pillar.
