The EVIC displays this sym bol to ind icate that
a phone connection has been made.
Press and release the MENU button until Personal Set-
tings displays in the EVIC.
Use the SCROLL button to display one of the follow ing
choices:
Call in
Progress
Language
The EVIC displays this sym bol to ind icate that
the Connect™ phone is currently not available.
When in this display you may select one of five lan-
guages for all display nom enclatu re, inclu ding the trip
functions and the navigation system (if equ ipped). Press
the FUNCTION SELECT button while in this display to
select English, Espanol, Deu tsch, Italiano, or Francais.
Then, as you continu e, the inform ation will display in the
selected langu age.

Personal Settings (Customer Programmable
Features)
Personal Settings allow s the driver to set and recall
featu res when the vehicle speed is at 0 mph (0 km/ h)
(manu al transm ission) or when the gear selector lever is
in “P” (Park) (auto transm ission).
NOTE: The EVIC will not change the UConnect™
langu age selection. For vehicles equ ipped with sales code
REQ or RES rad io, refer to “Langu age Selection” und er
“HANDS–FREE COMMUN ICATION (UConnect™)” for
