somethingiswrongwiththesystem.Rather,itmeanstheforceswere
notofthetypesufficienttocauseactivation.Sideairbagsaredesigned
toinflateinside-impactcollisions,notroll-over,rear-impact,frontalor
near-frontalcollisions,unlessthecollisioncausessufficientlateral
deceleration.
Severalairbagsystemcomponentsgethotafterinflation.Donot
touchthemafterinflation.
Ifthesideairbaghas
deployed,theairbagwill
notfunctionagain.Theside
airbagsystem(includingthe
seat)mustbeinspectedand
servicedbyanauthorized
dealer.Iftheairbagisnot
replaced,theunrepairedareawill
increasetheriskofinjuryina
collision.
Disposal of airbags and airbag equipped vehicles
Fordisposalofairbagsorairbagequippedvehicles,seeyourauthorized
dealer.AirbagsMUSTBEdisposedofbyqualifiedpersonnel.

Alwaystransportchildren12yearsoldandunderintheback
seatandalwaysuseappropriatechildrestraints.
Accidentstatisticsindicatethatchildrenaresaferwhenproperly
restrainedintherearseats.
