forthatseatingposition.
Insertthebelttongueintothe
properbuckleuntilyouheara
snapandfeelitlatch.Makesure
thetongueissecurelyfastenedin
thebuckle.
Keepthebucklereleasebuttonpointingupandawayfromthesafety
seat,withthetonguebetweenthechildseatandthereleasebutton,
topreventaccidentalunbuckling.
Placeseatbackinuprightposition.
Putthesafetybeltintheautomaticlockingmode.Referto            Automatic
lockin g mode (passengersidefrontandoutboardrearseating
positions)(ifequipped).
Fordrecommendstheuseofachildsafetyseathavingatoptether
strap.Installthechildsafetyseatinaseatingpositionwhichiscapable
ofprovidingatetheranchorage.Formoreinformationontoptether
straps,referto   Attachin  g safety  sea ts with  tether   str aps.
Carefullyfollowallofthemanufacturer’sinstructionsincluded
withthesafetyseatyouputinyourvehicle.Ifyoudonotinstall
andusethesafetyseatproperly,thechildmaybeinjuredinasudden
stoporcollision.
