Removethedipstick,wipingitcleanwithaclean,drylintfreerag.
Installthedipstickmakingsureitisfullyseatedinthefillertube.
Removethedipstickandinspectthefluidlevel.Thefluidshouldbein
thedesignatedareasfornormalandroomtemperature.
Correct fluid level
Thetransmissionfluidshouldbecheckedatnormaloperating
temperatures66°C-77°C(150°F-170°F)onalevelsurface.Thenormal
operatingtemperaturecanbereachedafterapproximately30km(20
miles)ofdriving.However,youcancheckthefluidwithoutdrivingifthe
outsidetemperaturesareabove10°C(50°F).Iffluidisaddedatthis
time,anoverfillconditioncouldresultwhenthevehiclereachesnormal
operatingtemperature.
Thetransmissionfluidshouldbein
thisrangeifatnormaloperating
temperature(66°C-77°C
